Big and Tall Hawaiian Shirts: Proportion Before Size Letters

“Big” and “tall” solve different fit problems and should not be treated as one generic cut.

Separate width from length

Compare finished measurements with a known shirt. Extra chest room does not guarantee adequate back length, and a tall cut may add length without the shoulder or upper-arm room you need.

Consider print proportion

Ask for full-garment photography in the actual size range. A fixed repeat occupies different proportions across sizes, while engineered border prints may be recut entirely.
